
Simple, delicious, these chicken lollipops take chicken drumsticks to another level. Once again, the secret is all about the marinade. Doing this recipe does require a little patience due to knife skills.

Firstly, trim up your drumsticks by cutting the tendon with sharp scissors then peel back the skin then tidy up the meat.
To make the marinade – take 1 egg, 1 tbsp of tandoori masala, 1 tsp of chilli powder, 1 tbsp of ground black pepper, 2 tbsp of garlic and ginger paste, 1 tbsp of dark soy, 3 tbsp of plain flour, 1 tbsp of cornflour and a tsp of salt.

Mix well…..

Add the chicken to the marinade, mix well and place in the fridge for 24 hours.

The following day, heat rapeseed oil in a deep pan, when visibly hot fry in small batches as overcrowding the pan will lower the heat.
