
Love this dish. So simple, a delightful dish to sit with a nice cold bottle of cobra and chill out with.

Recipe was taken from Dan Toombs.
Take your pre marinated paneer (previous blog post) and gently pan fry in rapeseed oil and you have a nice crust and the paneer has caramelised. Remove from heat and place on a piece of kitchen roll to remove any oil.

Take 2 tins of chopped tomatoes, 2 tbsp of garlic & ginger paste, 4 cardamom pods, 3 cloves, bay leaf and 2 tsp of chilli power and blitz.

Pass through a sieve. This removes any large pieces not blitzed and seeds. Will give a beautiful smooth sauce.

Bring to a simmer and add 2 chopped green chillies and 5 tbsp of butter, 1 tbsp at a time. the butter will give a nice glossy finish.

Add your precooked paneer, 75ml of single cream and chopped coriander….boom.
